Mullaghmore Equestrian Centre & Saddlery is located near Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan, a 10 minute drive from Monaghan town, Fermanagh and Aughnacloy. The centre features a large indoor and outdoor arena, stables and saddlery.

At Mullaghmore Equestrian Centre we have trained instructors ready to help and aid every student, from 4 years old and up, to hone their horse-riding skills while also having good fun! We also cater for riders with disabilities.

Cross-country treks

Mullaghmore is situated ten minutes from the Sliabh Beagh mountain range. We offer treks through this beautiful landscape on horseback.

Indoor/Outdoor Arena

At Mullaghmore Equestrian Centre we have both a state of the art purpose built indoor arena and natural outdoor arena giving you the best of both worlds, regardless of the weather.

Therapeutic horse-riding

At Mullaghmore we offer therapeutic horse-riding for both children and adults with any type of disability. Our centre is disability friendly.

Therapeutic coaching is the use of equine based learning techniques together with knowledge of disability to design and develop learning and therapeutic interventions for people with special needs.

Lessons

Horse-riding lessons are offered on an ad-hoc or weekly basis and ranging from half-hour sessions up to 2 hour sessions. Introductory lessons tailored to your needs from children 4 years and upwards are also available. At Mullaghmore we offer therapeutic horse-riding for both children and adults with any type of disability. Our centre is disability friendly.

Child-Friendly Centre

Mullaghmore Equestrian Centre is run by the McCarra family who have been involved in all aspects of the horse industry for many years. At our centre we offer a child-friendly learning experience in a safe environment. Coaching is geared to encourage interaction, making friends and having fun.

Horse riding lessons

Horse-riding lessons

We provide horse-riding lessons from ages 4 years and up so no matter what age you are, we’ve got you covered! You can book a lesson by shooting us an email or by simply giving us a call.

Mullaghmore Equestrian Centre has a very activity AIRC riding club. The club meets every Tuesday from 8-10pm. Each week is packed with lessons, coaching and actively competes in AIRC competitions throughout the country. If you would like to become a member of our club just give us a call!

Mullaghmore Equestrian Centre is located at Mullaghmore in Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan, only 10 minutes from Monaghan Town.

The centre is run by the McCarra family who have been involved in all aspects of the horse industry for years.

We provide horse-riding lessons throughout the week from beginners to advanced levels, livery, horse-riding experiences for birthday parties, hen and stag parties!
